Meladie A. Waggoner

Meladie A. Waggoner, 63, of Terre Haute, IN passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 in Signature Healthcare.  She was born March 23, 1958 in Ruston, LA to Melvin Alfred Nobles, Sr. and Addie Belle Carr Nobles.

Survivors include her sons, James Waggoner and Jimmy Waggoner; brother, Melvin Nobles, Jr.; sister-in-law; Debra Nidlinger (Jimm); mother-in-law; Doris Waggoner; nephews, Jared Alan Nobles, Jeremy Cason Nobles, and Jimm Nidlinger, Jr.; and niece, Gina Ernst. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Waggoner and her parents.

Meladie was a member of Southside Church of Christ.  She was an engineer who worked in the oil industry and at Eli Lilly.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2021 in Southside Church of Christ, 4117 S. 7 ^th Street, Terre Haute, IN with Elder Steve Reed officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Thorn Cemetery in Wolf Lake, IN.  Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Camp Wabashi, Terre Haute, IN.
