Mary Ann (Meehan) Thompson

Mary Ann (Meehan) Thompson, 85, of Vincennes, IN and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Saturday evening, March 18, 2023. She was born July 9, 1937 in Terre Haute to Robert Paul Meehan, Sr. and Erma Amelia Gayso Meehan.

Survivors include her children, Robert Michael Thompson (Maria) of Jeffersonville, IN and Deborah Ann Barnes (Kevin) of Denver, NC; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Thomas Meehan; four sisters, Erma (Meehan) Herman, Elizabeth (Meehan) Brammer, Matilda (Meehan) Bell and Matilda (Meehan) Yagar; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Robert Meehan, Jr., James Meehan and Francis Meehan.

Mary Ann was a devout Catholic and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church while living in Terre Haute.

Graveside services will be conducted at 9:00 AM, Monday, March 27, 2023 in Calvary Cemetery, with Deacon Mike Stratman officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
