Marsha L. Ruddell, 81, of French Lick, IN and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Saturday morning, August 15, 2020. She had formerly worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and The Sisters of Providence. Marsha was born February 20, 1939 in Terre Haute to Claude M. Drake and Margaret Seitz Drake.
Survivors include her sons, Greg Ruddell (Lisa) and Mark Ruddell (Janice); four grandchildren, Amanda Phillips (Ryley), Kala Copelin (Wes), Austin Ruddell and Eric Ruddell; and four great-grandchildren, Maxton, Cooper, Hattie and Veda. Also surviving are her sister, Linda Drake Schalburg (Charlie); sister-in-law, Vicki Palm (John); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert M. Ruddell, a sister, Shirley Wythe; and a great-granddaughter, Emilee Phillips.
Marsha was a member of St. Joseph University Parish and VFW Post #972 Auxiliary. She was a true animal lover and greatly enjoyed all of her furry friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in St. Joseph University Parish, 113 South 5th Street, with Friar Cyprian Uline officiating. Visitiation is scheduled prior to services on Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon in the church. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
