Marliss Ann Jackson

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Michael Ray Jackson; her two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Lee and Diana Jackson of Whiteland, IN and Matt and Charity Jackson of Paris, IL; four grandchildren, Nicolas Jackson, Peyton Jackson, Andrea Rupska and Garrett Rupska; two sisters; two brothers-in-law, Tom Jackson (Sandy) and Mark Jackson (Jodi); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Marliss was a graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School. She was a homemaker and also a retired cook with the Vigo County School Corporation. Marliss was an animal lover and also enjoyed playing the keyboard, cooking and had a true passion for quilting. She was a BIG fan of "I Love Lucy" and loved listening to the Beach Boys.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Ric May officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 4:00-8:00 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society, 1811 South Fruitridge Avenue, Terre Haute, IN 47803.
