Mark W. Kelty, 46 , of Terre Haute passed away unexpectedly Thursday afternoon, October 26, 2017 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was the Lead Utility Operator and formerly the 1st Line Manager at Dupont Danisco Corporation of Terre Haute. Mark was born March 5, 1971 in Decatur, IL to Gary Kelty and Lynn Baker Kelty.

Survivors include his loving wife, Gwenda Lynne Bemis Kelty; two sons, Bryan Kelty (Keelie) and Collin Kelty; three step-sons, Austen Mitchell (Ashlee), Landon Mitchell and Mason Mitchell; his mother, Lynn Tennant (Jack); his father, Gary Kelty (Barbara); sister, Michelle Hill (Kevin); grandson, Grayson Kelty; and four nieces, Kaitlyn, McKenna, Lexi and Nikki. Also surviving are two aunts, Cathy Fagg (Bill) and Carla Sankey (Steve); an uncle, Jerry Yates; his mother-in-law, Janie Nihiser; a brother-in-law, Ryan Mann; and a sister-in-law, Shari Kelty. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Kelty; a step-son, Dillon Mitchell; his grandparents, Mary Ellen and Richard Baker and Gladys and Irvin Kelty; and his father-in-law, Keith Bemis.

Mark was a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and received his Bachelor's Degree in Electronics from Indiana State University. He played football at both Terre Haute South and ISU and coached Youth Football as well. Mark was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, National Wild Turkey Federation, and Sons of the American Legion.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th St., with Pastor Tim Fagg officiating. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 31st from 4:00-8:00 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mark W.
