MARGIE ELLEN PETTY Margie Ellen Petty of Terre Haute passed away at the age of 73 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 8th, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. She was born on September 23, 1940 in Terre Haute to Emma and Clarance Williams. Survivors include one daughter, Margie Lee Gilliland, of Terre Haute; one son, Billy Ray Petty, Sr., of Terre Haute; a twin brother, Marlin A. Williams, of Terre Haute; eight grandchildren, Michael Gilliland, Jr., Tina Tankersley, Billy Petty, Jr., Tony Petty, Connor Fields, Mallory Fields, Zachary Petty and Logan Stroud; and four great-grandchildren who knew her as "Grandma Pickles", Olivia Gilliland, Kylie Gilliland, Tanner Lutz and Conner Lutz; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and an older brother, Donald L. Williams. She will forever be remembered for the love she had for her family and the Lord. She was a wonderful woman, mom, sister and grandma who could put a smile on anyone. Now she is our forever Angel. We love you mom and grandma. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Bryce Ulrich officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 19th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
