Margaret V. Locke, of Albion, Ind., passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family. Born Aug. 18, 1958, in Indianapolis, Ind., she was a daughter of Harvey Weir Cook Jr. and Margaret E. Lenahan Cook.
Margaret was a graduate of Franklin Community High School, Franklin, Ind., and was a member of St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church in Columbia City. She was a customer service representative for most of her career and was truly a "people person". Margaret loved being around and helping others all she could.
Survivors include her loving husband of 32 years, Thomas A. Locke; two daughters, Margaret Marie (John) Callahan and Kelly Katherine (Hector) Urrutia; nine brothers and sisters, Maureen (Mike) Pinnick, Dorothy (David) Mann, John Cook, Connie Tenbrink, Tom (Teresa) Cook, Patty (David) Shore, Kathy (Larry) Foulk, Joanne Del Greco and Trip (Peggy) Cook; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial is 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 315 S. Line St., Columbia City, Ind., with visitation from noon to 1 p.m. Father Gary Sigler officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery / the Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carmelite Monastery, 949 River Road, Des Plaines, IL 60016. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th St., Terre Haute, IN.
