Louise C. Hrabak, 91, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday evening, February 21, 2018 in Signature HealthCARE of Terre Haute. She was an audiologist having worked in Oak Park, IL. Louise was born February 22, 1926 in Springfield, IL to James Conlon and Louise A. Conlon. Her husband, William R. Hrabak, preceded her in death on January 13, 2013.
Survivors include her step-son, Michael Hrabak (Pamela) of Grayslake, IL; two sisters, Elizabeth Scott of Terre Haute and Pauline Stensland of Park Ridge, IL; a brother, Patrick Conlon (Mattie) of Jenison, MI; step-grandson, Ryan Hrabak; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Louise was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She enjoyed knitting and her favorite activity was skiing. She loved to travel on ski trips and was past president of the Windy City Ski Club.
The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to Louise's special caregivers, Katie Collins, Rachel Graham, Abbie Graham, Susan Graham and Heart to Heart Hospice.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Father Dan Bedel officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Springfield, IL. There is no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
