Louise Higginbotham

Louise Higginbotham, 92, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She was born November 19, 1921 in White Rose, IN to Elijah Stevenson and Sarah Sumners Stevenson. Louise worked for the C.I.A. Survivors include her Husband, Charles William "Bill" Higginbotham; one daughter, Debra Higginbotham of Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers and sisters, Bud Stevenson, Earl Stevenson, Forest Dyer, Fern Gist, Maxine Singleton, Alusta Bandy, Mildred Harvey, Clara Davis, Ann Fowler, and Beatrice Stevenson. Louise was a member of First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street with Reverend Bernie Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014 in the funeral home.
