Lisbeth Ann Swift, 78, of Terre Haute passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born October 20, 1934 in Clay County, IN to John Wassel and Moyne Hicks Wassel. Lisbeth retired from Tri Industries after 45 years of service. Survivors include her two daughters, Amy Swift and Julie Schaack, both of Terre Haute; her best friend Rita Brown; adopted daughter, Gail; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son-in-law, Richard Schaack. Lisbeth enjoyed spending time and traveling with her friends. The daughters would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and caregivers that took wonderful care of their mother. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, August 23, 2013 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, Terre Haute, IN with Pastor Bob Kumpf officiating. Private Burial will be in Ashboro Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Funeral information is also available at www.callahanandhughes.com.
