Linda Patrick

Linda S. Patrick, 77, of Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Westminster Village. She was born on January 2, 1948, in Terre Haute to Homer Charles and Marian L. (Brumfield) Patrick.

Linda is survived by her twin brother, Randy R. Patrick (Deborah) of Indianapolis; nieces, Kari Sharpe (Justin), Jamie Jost (Ali Yousaf), and Sherri King; great nieces and great nephews: Kinley, Drew, Jack, Connor, Ford, and Jarrett; and her best friend who she treated like the daughter she never had, Kimberly Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Larry King.

Linda was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Joseph University Parish. She was also a member of the Order of Franciscan Seculars – 3rd Order and St. Rose of Viterbo Fraternity. She served as a Lay Franciscan for the church. Linda truly cherished the trip she took with the church to the Vatican where she got to meet the Pope.

Linda graduated from Wiley High School and earned a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees from Indiana State University. She was a volunteer writer for the Vigo County Historical Society. She was an avid reader. A football fanatic, Linda was the Indianapolis Colts’ number one fan. She loved going out to eat with her family or simply having lunch in Deming Park with her best friend, Kimberly. Linda was an animal lover and enjoyed her pets, Mufasa and Mr. Kitty.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at noon on Friday, March 21, 2025, at St. Joseph University Parish. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to noon, at the church. Linda will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph University Parish, the Terre Haute Humane Society, or the Vigo County Historical Society.
