Linda Louise Niemiec

Linda Louise Niemiec, 74, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024 in her residence.  She was born December 30, 1949 in Gary, IN to Steve Nawojski and Anne Horkovich Nawojski.

Survivors include her daughters, Nicole Niemiec and Valerie Combs (Tadd); sisters, Cathy Konsynski (Benn) and Maggie Kessler (Jim); and grandchildren, Conard Matthew Combs and Lillian Anne Combs.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Niemiec, and her parents.

Linda was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She was an administrative assistant at I.S.U. and loved working there. Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and family vacations.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:05 P.M. on Friday, April 12, 2024 in St. Benedict Catholic Church with Father Bob St. Martin officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 11, 2024 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street with a rosary to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crisis Pregnancy Center at wabashvalleypregnancy.com.
