Linda E. Mohrhaus

Linda E. Mohrhaus, 78, of Terre Haute passed away Monday evening, February 20, 2023.  She was born July 29, 1944 in Hammond, IN to Charles Haley and Ethel Stempf Haley.  Her husband, Robert A. Mohrhaus, preceded her in death in 2019.

Survivors include her children, Laura Brentlinger (Jared), Jeffrey Dittrich (Beth) and Robert Dittrich (Jayna);  three grandchildren, Kyle Brentlinger, Dylan Brentlinger and Kristin Hufford;  two great-grandchildren, Amara and Castiel Hufford;  her brother and sister-in-law,  Dennis and Sandy Haley;  her brothers-in-law, Tom Jarosz and Chuck Hindson;  and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Kathy Jarosz, Bonnie Hindson and Betsy Bein.

Linda was a long-time and active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.  She helped her husband operate Park Lane Properties Apartments.  She loved gardening and decorating/interior design.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle and to Heart to Heart Hospice for the loving care they provided to Linda.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 25, 2023 in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1807 Poplar Street, with Father Ben Syberg officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 24 ^th from 4:00-8:00 PM in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street and also prior to services on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM in the church.  If friends should so desire, memorial contributions may be made to Indiana Donor Network Foundation, 3760 Guion Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222 or to St. Patrick School, 1807 Poplar Street, Terre Haute, IN 47803.  Funeral information and tributes may be found at www.callahanandhughes.com .
