Linda Lee Harbour

Linda Lee Harbour, 77, of Terre Haute passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in T.H. Regional Hospital. He was born November 5, 1938 in Columbus, OH to Lawrence Adrian Swinney and Harriett Gregory Swinney.

Survivors include her husband, Lowell Edward Harbour; son, Kyle Edward Harbour and his wife Tracy of Spring Hill, KS; brother, William Lawrence Swinney and his wife Kelly of California; and a niece, Brenda Carlberg and her husband Russell of Washington State. She was preceded in death by her parents; an aunt, Marjorie Jane Garrard; and a nephew, Bobby Swinney.

Linda held various positions at Indiana State University during her tenure, she was an Educator, the Assistant Dean and the Director of Student Affairs in the School of Nursing and also taught at St. Anthony School of Nursing. She was one of Indianas first nurse practitioners working for Dr. Justin and Dr. Walker, and a nurse at St. Anthony Hospital. Linda graduated from the St. Anthony School of Nursing and then received her Bachelors Degree and her Masters Degree in Nursing from Indiana University. She was a member of First Congregational Church, the American Nurses Association, the Indiana State Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau, the Mayflower Guild Society, and various other clubs and organizations.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2016 in Callahan Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Reverend Dawn Carlson officiating. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2016 and one hour prior to services on Friday. Private burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
