Lester Wayne Batchelor Lester Wayne Batchelor, 55, of Paris, IL died Monday, March 17, 2014 in Paris Community Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute on August 15, 1958 to Junior Batchelor and Shirley McCloud Batchelor. He was a self-employed carpenter. Survivors include two sons, Joshua Batchelor of Paris, IL and Travis Batchelor of Terre Haute; a daughter, Ashley Batchelor of Paris, IL; two step-sons, Michael Batchelor of West Terre Haute and Ray Batchelor of Paris, IL; two sisters, Lovea Batchelor and Sharon Prouse both of Terre Haute; a half-brother, Charles Batchelor of Florida; and six grandchildren, Danielle, Leah, Lukes, Travis, Jaddin and Russell Batchelor. Lester was a member of Paris Church of God and served his country in the United States Army. There are no services or visitation. Local arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street.
