Leonard Stephen Arnold, 58, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday morning, April 21, 2018 in Union Hospital. He was the owner and Principal Architect of MMS-A/E Inc. Steve was born September 22, 1959 in Terre Haute to David Charles Arnold and Sandra Sue Nichols Arnold.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Glaser Arnold; four sons, Breaghnan Arnold, Graham Arnold, Aaron Arnold (Brittney) and Samuel Arnold; his mother and step-father, Sandra and Mike Treaster; a step-son, Evan Beeson (Christina); a step-daughter, Shannon Pluta (John); and nine grandchildren. Also surviving is his sister, Debra Barnes (Greg); father-in-law, Gerald Glaser; brother-in-law, Michael Glaser; aunt and uncle, Mike and Sara Arnold; a step-brother, Michael R. Treaster (Denise); a step-sister, Barbara Reynolds (Robin); and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents, Alice and Leonard Nichols.
Steve was a 1977 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and received his degree in Architecture from Ball State University. He held Architectural Licenses in Texas, Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana, and was also licensed in Interior Design. During his career, Steve worked on projects in 29 states as well as several countries. He was a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, American Institute of Architects, Rotary International and attended St. Joseph University Parish.
A memorial visitation is scheduled from 1:00-3:00 PM, Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. There are no services scheduled.
