Leona Kirby Leona Kirby, 90, of Terre Haute died Thursday, November 28, 2013 in Meadows Manor East. She was born October 18, 1923 in Terre Haute to Criss Walton and Sylvia Moreland Walton. She was a retired clerk at Reuben H. Donnelly Publishing Company and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kirby in 1980. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Staley of Evansville and Deanna Walker of Greenwood; a sister, Lois Mienheartt of Terre Haute; five grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and one nephew. Leona was a member of Victory Christian Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 6, 2013 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street with Pastor Shawn Riggs officiating. Private burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery.
