Lawrence E. "Larry" Edmondson

Lawrence E. “Larry” Edmondson, 74, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022.  He was born August 16, 1947 in Terre Haute to Ivan Earl Edmondson and Virginia Ramona Schauwecker Edmondson.

Survivors include his wife, Terri French Moody;  his sister, Linda Wynn (David) of Jasonville, IN;  two step-sons, Jason Pugh (Dana) and their daughters, Brittany and Madysen all of Jamestown, KY, and Jesse Pugh (Nichole) and his son, Alex, of Terre Haute;  a step-daughter, Amber Davison (Terry) and their children, Brooke and Terry III, all of Plainfield, IN;  and a cousin, David Bess (Christine) of Clay City, IN.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry was a Veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War and had worked at Sam’s Club and Walmart.  He was a member of United Brethren Church in Union and Riley American Legion Post #328.  He was an avid gardener and loved spending time in his vegetable and flowers gardens.  Larry also loved Hot Rod cars and owned a 1923 Model T Bucket.  He was a member of Rodders Car Club of Terre Haute.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 25, 2022 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street, with Pastor Jeremy Miller officiating.  Burial with Military Honors will be in Danville National Cemetery, Danville, IL.  Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 10:00-11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Funeral information and tributes may be found at www.callahanandhughes.com .
