Lauri Ann Troutman

Lauri Ann Troutman, 53, of Terre Haute passed away late Saturday evening, November 30, 2024. She was born February 8, 1971 in Terre Haute to Leonard Matherly and Vicki Meeker Matherly.

Survivors include her children, Krystal Coleman (Stephanie) of Chandler, IN, Kourtney Coleman of Terre Haute and Austin Matherly of Terre Haute; her parents, Leonard and Vicki Matherly of Terre Haute; and five grandchildren, Kylee, Kyra, Karson, Kaisley and Kaelynn. Also surviving are her sisters, Teri Bennett (Mark) of Prairieton, IN and Lisa Kemp (Chris) of Terre Haute; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and her 3 best friends, Donna, Rodney and Debbie.

Lauri was a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School. She was known for bringing a smile to your face, compassion, love, and her resilience. Lauri enjoyed her time being a nanny and embracing each of the grandkids. “I love your face!”, she’d say. She was an advocate for women suffering from domestic abuse, and loved crafts and collecting all sorts of items.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 4, 2024 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Mark Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Durham Cemetery.
