Larry E. Kotter

Larry E. Kotter, 86, of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born on August 11, 1929 in Knox County, IN to Clarence Kotter and Marie Hess Kotter. He was a retired executive with Dow Corning Company in Midland, Michigan.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joann Stultz Kotter of Terre Haute; a son, Michael Kotter and his wife Joy of Cypress, TX, three daughters, Cathy Kotter of Midland, MI, Jean Bieby and her husband, Carl of Saginaw, MI and Sharon Kotter of Kalamazoo, MI; ten grandchildren; and eight great- grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Steven Kotter.

Larry was a 1956 graduate of Indiana University and served his country during the Korean War in the US Navy. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion Post 104, the Marine Corps league, the Sycamore Club and St. Benedict Catholic Church. He loved to play golf and enjoyed playing cards with his friends.
A Memorial Mass will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 2, 2016 in St. Benedict Catholic Church with Father Matthew Malek, O.F.M. officiating. Military rites will be performed by VFW 972 after Mass. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street.
