Larry Dean Anderson

Larry Dean Anderson, 82, of Terre Haute passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023.  He was born June 30, 1940 in Eugene, Oregon to Harlan H. Anderson and Ethel L. Davis Anderson.

Survivors include his children: Teresa Green, Larry Anderson, and Robert Anderson; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and his dear friend of many years, Linda Hollingsworth. He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.

Larry was a U.S. Army veteran, serving as a parachutist with the 82 ^nd and 101 ^st Airborne Divisions. After receiving an honorable discharge, Larry began a career with Pfizer, which lasted for 35 years.

During retirement, Larry volunteered for many organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and Alameda Park Zoo in New Mexico. He also shared his love of country music by singing and playing his guitar at various nursing homes, senior centers, and other venues.

A private family memorial will take place at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street.
