Kevin Edward Nelson

Kevin Edward Nelson, 67, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025 in his residence. He was born May 30, 1957 in Terre Haute to Harry E. Nelson and Freida Monroney Nelson. He was baptized at Union Christian Church.

 Survivors include his mother, Freida L. Nelson; siblings, Polly Jones (Steve), Bradley Nelson, and Roger Nelson (Kristi); nieces, Madeline Meehan (Kevin), Ruby Nelson, and Kyleigh Nauman; nephews Luke Nelson (Keilah) and Mark Nauman; and great nephew, Ellis Meehan. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry E. Nelson.

 Kevin was an assistant truck driver at Goodwill. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #328 and was a 1975 graduate of South Vigo. Kevin was loved by everyone in Riley, always had a smile on his face, and never spoke an unkind word. He loved music and dancing. 

 Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2025 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Funeral services will be private with Mark Grayless officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Riley American Legion Post #328.
