Kelly Kay Stout

Kelly Kay (Jennings) Stout, 56, of Terre Haute passed away early Saturday morning, December 7, 2024, at her home alongside her family. She was born August 31, 1968 in Terre Haute to Larry Jennings and Jeanette Bridgewater Jennings. She grew up alongside her sisters, Lorri and Tammi. She was the baby of the family and had a vibrant personality. 

Kelly met her husband, Curt, in 1986. Soon after they fell in love and were married on December 15th, 1990. Her entire life, Kelly had always wished to have twin boys. In December 1995, Kelly got her wish as she and Curt welcomed twins Connor and Chase into the world. 

Kelly was a graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and worked for the Vigo County School Corporation in Accounts Payable. She will be remembered for being a loving wife and mother. An amazing cook and hostess, her home was always comforting and brought family especially close at the holidays. She had a big heart, and cared deeply for her family and pets.

Survivors include her husband, Curtis W. Stout; sons, Connor Stout (Kylee) and Chase Stout (Abi) both of Terre Haute; two sisters, Lorri Opremchak (Joe) and Tammi Pritcher (Keith) both of Terre Haute; her mother and father-in-law, Wayne and Dee Stout; two sisters-in-law, Lea Thomas (David) and Gina Jackson (Doug); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 13, 2024 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
