Kathryn A. "Kay" Perkins

Kathryn A. “Kay” Perkins, 90, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday evening, December 8, 2020.  She worked with Vigo County Air Pollution Control for 32 years.  She was born November 28, 1930 in Terre Haute to Ralph M. Lehner and Agnes C. Conrath Lehner.

Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Ann Cleghorn (Fred) of Terre Haute;  her son, Michael William Perkins (Barbara) of Terre Haute;  three grandchildren;  and seven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents;  and a twin sister, Mary Ann Lehner.

Kay was a member of St. Joseph University Parish where she was active in the Parish Altar Society, volunteered on the hospitality committee and helped serve funeral dinners.  Kay loved to cook, travel and attend theater productions and plays.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 14, 2020 in St. Joseph University Parish, 113 South 5 ^th Street, with Friar Cyprian Uline officiating.  Visitation will be prior to services from 12:00 Noon-1:00 PM in the church.  It is kindly requested that masks be required.  Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street.  If friends should so desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph University Parish, 113 South 5 ^th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807.  Funeral information is also available at www.callahanandhughes.com .
