Kathryn L. Gretencord
November 19, 1951 — February 9, 2016
Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Steven Gretencord; a son, Jason Gretencord of Terre Haute; two sisters, Betty Schunk and her husband, Gary, of Jasonville, IN and Sandra Rhoderick of Tallahassee, FL; a brother, Calvin Rhoderick of Jasonville, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Thomas and Roger Rhoderick.
Kathy graduated from Shakamak High School and Indiana State University where she earned her B.S. Degree in Business Education in 1974. She was an active member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Kathy loved her God, being with family and friends, sewing, photography crafts.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 12, 2016 in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 2322 North 13 Street, with Father Joe Feltz officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will take place in the church on Thursday, Feb. 11th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2322 North 13 Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804 or to Ryves Hall Youth Center, 1356 Locust St., Terre Haute, IN 47807.
