Julianne Huey, 63, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday morning, March 17, 2015. She was a teacher for the Vigo County School Corporation. Julianne was born November 4, 1951 in Terre Haute to Arthur Clingerman and Doris Fell Clingerman. Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years, Michael W. Huey; two sons, Ethan Huey and his wife, Courtney, of Indianapolis and Eric Huey of Terre Haute; a daughter, Ashley Stakeman and her husband, Jeremy, of Brazil, IN; and eight grandchildren, Alese Huey, Gavin Huey, Nolan Huey, Devin Huey, Josie Stakeman, Jackson Stakeman, Ava Stakemen & Jameson Stakeman; three brothers-in-law, Mark, Dennis four sisters-in-law, Cheryl, Leeann, Donna and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Julianne was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School and received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Indiana State University. Julianne taught for 25 years, 19 of those were at Franklin Elementary School. She was a member of Union Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 P.M., Friday, March 20, 2015 at Union Christian Church, 5350 East Hulman Drive, with Mark Grayless officiating. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Friday from 3:00-6:00 P.M. in the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
