Judy L. McKnight, 70, of Terre Haute and formally of Hamilton, OH passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016 in Union Hospital. She was born September 27, 1945 in Middletown, OH to Robert Kihm and Martha Stallkamp Kihm. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Paul BillMcKnight.
Other survivors include a son, Dr. Christopher McKnight of Cincinnati, OH; and a daughter, Lieutenant Colonel Caroline Horton of Washington DC; three brothers, Michael Kihm and his wife Susan of Hamilton, OH, Tom Kihm and his wife Jacquie of Columbus, OH and David Kihm of Minneapolis, MN; and a sister, Karen Melko and her husband John of Foster City, CA; along with numerous nieces and nephews who live throughout the United States.
Judy was a 1963 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Hamilton, OH and later was a 1967 graduate of Michigan State University. She was an elementary school teacher, homemaker and later worked in a variety of jobs with additional responsibilities culminating in her retirement as vice president and operations manager for CityGroups Morgan Stanley in Terre Haute. She was a member of St. Joseph University Parish and loved to play bridge and belonged to several bridge groups. Judy also loved working in her flower garden and creating a beautiful yard. She also loved spending time with children. As a beautiful spirit and loving soul, she will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Visitation is scheduled on Thursday June 9, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. in Callahan Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street. Visitation will also be in Weigal Funeral Home, 980 NW Washington Blvd. Hamilton, OH on Monday June 13, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Tuesday June 14, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Peters in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Ave, Hamilton, OH. Entombment will be in St. Stephens Cemetery.
