Joseph Ronald Waldron

Joseph Ronald Waldron, 61, of Terre Haute passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 at home. He was born June 6, 1956 in Terre Haute to Roy Waldron and LaVonne Travis Waldron.
Survivors include his parents; an aunt, Ruby Waldron; Uncle Vic and Aunt Theada Morris, Uncle Bud and Aunt Donnetta Travis; and several cousins. Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pearl and Helen Waldron and Theodore and Grace Travis
Joseph attended Beacon School of the Valley and Children's Learning Center. He worked for Spectrum Industries. He participated in Special Olympics track and field, swimming, bowling for several years beginning in 1969. He also participated in the 1970 International Special Olympics in Chicago, in track & field and swimming. Joseph enjoyed summer visits on the farm in Clay City for over 20 years. He loved and collected John Deere Tractors. He enjoyed traveling to Washington DC and many other states. Joseph enjoyed carving, fishing and listening to country music.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday June 11, 2017 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street with the Reverend Stephen Moore officiating. Private burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home.
