Joseph Anthony Pearman

Joseph Anthony Pearman, 51, was born on February 16, 1972 to Charles E. Pearman, Jr. and Mary H. Jones Pearman. He passed away unexpectedly in his home on April 22, 2023.

Joe graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo High School in 1992. He worked for Hallcon and previously PTI and Rail Express Transportation Services. He also enjoyed helping his friend Andres at Ulloa’s Mexican Restaurant.

Joe loved taking trips to the casino with his friend Rod, planting a garden each year, and spending time with his siblings and their families at weekly Sunday dinners. He was a kind person and would go out of his way to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his close-knit siblings, Paula E. Bower (Wayne), Dianna M. Pearman, Charles E. Pearman III, and Iris S. Buza (Steve); nieces and nephews, DeLana Harkness, Adam Harkness (Amanda), Kate Smith (Jason), Ryan Harkness (Kacie), Kelsey Buza, Kaley Cortellini (Deylin), and Aaron Bower; and his dog and best friend, Razor. Joe also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews, and cousins with whom he was very close. He is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street, with Pastor Charles Coffin officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you instead plant something for yourself in his honor to keep his memory alive.
