Joretta M. Lowe

Survivors include her daughter, Karla Lowe; son, Bodi Lowe (Paula); brother, Fred Robertson (Sandy); sister, Judy Kraemer (Orville); grandchildren, Josh Lowe, Kylie Lowe, and Elisha Murphy; and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Lowe; her parents; and brothers, Byron Robertson, David Robertson, and Frank Robertson.
Joretta was a member of West Terre Haute Chapter #428 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Eastside Church of Christ, the Red Hat Society, and the Moose. She and her husband owned the Spelterville Inn after retirement. Joretta baked cakes for many family weddings and birthdays and enjoyed quilting weekly at St. Mark Church.
Memorial services will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 8, 2019 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Steve Moore officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Friday with an O.E.S. Memorial Service at 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the Terre Haute Humane Society, or the charity of your choice.
