John L. Trimpe, Jr. John L. Trimpe, Jr., of Vero Beach, Florida, and formerly of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 7th, at his home in Vero Beach. He was born on September 13th, 1937, in Terre Haute to John L. Trimpe, Sr., and Margaret E. Trimpe, who both predeceased him. He was a retired financial consultant. John is survived by cousins Carol and Charles DeMaio of Carmel, Indiana; Ron Reeves of Terre Haute; Nancy and Jerry Bratz of Texas; Bonnie Powell, Gary Powell, and Becky Stone of Florida; Robert & Jeanette Owens of Missouri; and Rob Hoff of Illinois, many friends, and his beloved dachshunds. John graduated from Terre Haute Garfield High School and had a Bachelor's Degree from DePauw University and a Master's of Business Administration Degree from Indiana State University. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, and a 32nd degree Mason. Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Monday May 6, 2013 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Reverend Dana Newhouse officiating. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Monday, May 6, 2013 in the funeral home. Private burial will take place at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John's honor may be made to the Alpha Tau Omega Foundation, 32 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.
