John Jerry Sullivan

John Jerry Sullivan, 76, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday evening, August 20, 2015 in St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He had worked in the Central Supply Chain Operation for Terre Haute Regional Hospital and St. Anthony Hospital for over 59 years. Jerry was born May 15, 1939 in Terre Haute to Neil Sullivan and Anna DeLoughery Sullivan. Survivors include his sister, Margaret Ann Burk of Terre Haute; a sister-in-law, Rose Sullivan of Terre Haute; eight nieces and nephews, Tony Burk, Mickey Burk, Kenny Burk, Bill Sullivan, Laura Tucker, Tim Sullivan, Jay Sullivan and Bonnie Thompson; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Patrick Sullivan; and a nephew, Chris Sullivan. Jerry was a graduate of Schulte High School, attended Indiana State University and received his bachelor's degree from Purdue University. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, August 24th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Private services and entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society, P.O. Box 3307, Terre Haute, IN 47803.
