John W. Mcmahon

John W. McMahon, 71, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in Union Hospital.  He was born April 7, 1953 in Terre Haute to William McMahon and Alice Gremonprez McMahon.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene Collett; sons, Keith McMahon (Heather) and Matt McMahon (Kelli); step-son, John Collett (Sallee); step-daughter, Michelle Collett Soto (Steven); grandchildren, Dougie Collett (Anna), T.J. Collett (Macy), Maggie Soto, Declan McMahon, Michayla McMahon, and Dylan McMahon; and great grandchildren, John Collett and Beau Collett.   He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mike McMahon; and granddaughter, Jackie Collett.

John was a die hard Colts fan but loved all sports. He had a knack for making others laugh. He loved his family with all his heart and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed..

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Reverend Wendell Kirkman officiating.  Visitation will be prior to services from 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. on Saturday. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a local food bank.
