John Paul Hook

John Paul Hook, 63 of Terre Haute passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Westridge Health Care Center. He was born September 9, 1952 in Iowa City, IA to John C. Hook and Natalie Cahill Hook. John was a professional musician.

Survivors include his mother, Natalie Hook of Terre Haute; two sisters, Mary Aycock and her husband Kent Smith of Sausalito, CA and Jeannette Beans Hook and her husband John Wynn of Australia; three nieces and a lifelong friend, Kevin Moore. John was preceded in death by his father, John C. Hook; and a brother, Chuck Cahill Hook.

John was a graduate of Wiley High School and Indiana State University. He loved music and traveled coast to coast playing the drums in his band, Lady Luck. John loved to bowl and loved to fish with his dad. He was well loved by all and his music brought joy to many. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Private memorial services are scheduled for a later date with inurnment at Calvary Cemetery. There is no visitation scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street.
