Jo E. Phillips

Jo E. Phillips, 72, of Terre Haute passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in Harrison’s Crossing Health Campus.  She was born on February 24, 1950 in Warsaw, IN to Darrell E Phillips and J. Marilyn Sittler Phillips.

Survivors include her sister, Connie Atkinson (Newman); nephews, Benjamin Atkinson (Meghan) and Joey Atkinson; uncle, Dale Phillips (Jeannine); and cousins, David Sittler (Christy), Terry Phillips (Kathy), Larry Phillips (Debbie), Garry Phillips (Bonnie), Jerry Phillips (Rachelle), and Joe Phillips (Sabrina). She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jo was a computer programmer for Marion County for 25 years, after which she was church secretary at Seelyville United Methodist Church, where she was in the United Methodist Women, Book Group, Crafty Quilters, Tuesday Morning Bible Study, and scrapbooking. Jo was an avid reader and traveler.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 15, 2022 at Seelyville United Methodist Church, 2351 N. 2 ^nd Street, Seelyville, IN with Pastor Tim Voll officiating.  Visitation will be prior to services from 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Friday.  Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Seelyville United Methodist Church.
