JERALDINE M. BAKER Jeraldine M. Baker, 82, of Terre Haute died Sunday evening, June 9, 2013 in Meadows Manor East. She was born January 6, 1931 in Leroy, West Virginia to H. C. "Pete" Full and Ruby McVay Full. Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Dr. Jerrold Baker; two daughters, Ellen Burdick and her husband, Jim, and Leslie Burdick and her husband, Joe, all of Terre Haute; a son, Matt Baker of Terre Haute; seven grandchildren, Katie Pettit and her husband, Chris, Mark Burdick and his wife, Stephanie, Laura Burdick, Bryan Burdick and his wife, Sabrina, Kyle Burdick and his wife, Kailee, Ryan Baker and Abbe Baker; three great-grandchildren, Hannah Ruby Pettit, Bailey Truxal and Sam Truxal; a brother-in-law, Robert Gibbons; two nieces, Laura Gibbons Nikiel and Kim Baker; and one nephew, Jay Baker. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Linda Margaret Baker; and a sister, Juanita Gibbons. Jeraldine was a graduate of Garfield High School and Indiana State University. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the church Altar Society, Alpha Omicron Pi and Tri Kappa. Earlier in her life, Jeraldine had taught elementary school in Indianapolis, served as president of the St. Patrick School Parent Club and was a volunteer at Birthright. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 Noon, Friday, June 21, 2013 in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1807 Poplar Street, with Father Rick Ginther officiating. Private burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Friday from 10:00AM - 12:00 Noon in St. Patrick Church.
