Jenna Kay Perrelle

January 30, 2002 — February 14, 2019

Jenna Kay Perrelle, 17, of Terre Haute passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019. Jenna was born to Coby and Debbie Perrelle on January 30, 2002 in Terre Haute. She was lovingly known as JK' and Weiner' by her family and friends.

Jenna was a junior at Terre Haute South Vigo High School, where she was loved by all. She was an academic honors student and a member of the Lady Braves softball team, where she lettered as a freshman. She was also a member of the Indiana Gators travel softball team. Jenna enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her older sisters, Lauren and Emily. She looked up to her sisters and followed in their footsteps with her love of softball. Jenna had a funny sense of humor. She loved to joke around and make people laugh. Recently, Jenna and her family took a vacation to Florida, which she said "was a week I'll never forget."

Jenna is survived by her loving parents, her older sisters, and her dog, Wrigley. She also leaves behind her grandparents, Ann Trierweiler, Benet Rutenberg, Rocky Perrelle (Joyce) and Joyce Weaver; her aunts and uncles, Aaron Rutenberg, Leah Rutenberg (Danny Sims), Darin Weaver (Leanne), and Doug Weaver (Angie); and her cousins, Ceira (Dustin), Hayden, Emma and Jake. Jenna also leaves behind many dear friends at school and on the softball field. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Larry Weaver.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019 located in the Terre Haute South High School auditorium. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM and there will be a service immediately following. Callahan and Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, was entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Wabash Valley Community Foundation, Inc., 200 South 8th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807-3706, www.wvcf.com in Jenna's name where a scholarship fund will be started for an outstanding student athlete.

We will miss you, sweet girl. Fly high.
