Survivors include two sons, Bradley S. Miller and his wife, Connie, of Terre Haute and Mark J. Miller of North Carolina; a daughter, Christy Ann Jacques and her husband, Tom, of Clarksville, TN; his companion, Phyllis Ferris of Terre Haute; and two step-sons, Mike Coakley of Terre Haute and Jay Coakley of Jefferson City, Missouri. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Brian Miller, Brianne Reese, Leah Davis, and Marlon Miller; several step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, Olivia, Macey, Ruby, Luke, Austin and Scott; his brother, Dr. Gary Miller and his wife, Jane, of Noblesville, IN; a sister-in-law, Ellen Marshall of Louisville, KY; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann Miller; his second wife; Joanne Coakley Miller; two brothers, Von Miller and Verl Miller; a sister, Joanne Thomas; and a grandson, Shane Miller.
Jeff was a graduate of Wiley High School and Indiana University and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a 60 year member and Past Master of Terre Haute Lodge #19 F & AM, a 60 year member of Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, Zorah Shrine, Kerman Grotto, Terre Haute Elks Lodge #86 and was a life member of the I.U. Varsity Club.
Private Masonic Services will be conducted in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Terre Haute Lodge #19 officiating. Private burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. There is no visitation. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Temple Building Fund, 224 North 8th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807 or to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
