Janice S. Williams

Janice S. Williams, 81, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday evening, June 7, 2023.  She was born August 19, 1941 in Athens, OH to Wayne and Ethel Matthews.  Her husband, Thomas W. Williams, preceded her in death in 2000.

Survivors include her nieces and nephew, Donna Jo Carpenter (Gary), Madonna Nally (Gene) and Mike Williams (Tina);  several great-nieces and great-nephews;  her companion, Bob Moore;  caregiver and friend, Jayne Montgomery;  and special neighbors.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by 3 brothers-in-law;  2 sisters-in-law;  and life-long friend, Diane Wright.

Janice helped her husband, Tom, with the operation of Fort Harrison Auto.  She enjoyed her BUNKO Club and was an avid sports fan, especially of football, basketball and golf.  Janice loved gardening and decorating her home, and was a lover of animals.

A private graveside service will take place in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
