Janice Joan Mchargue
January 10, 1929 — May 21, 2019
Janice is survived by her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Jay M. and Elizabeth McHargue of Sarasota, FL; two grandsons, Cole McHargue of Cincinnati, OH and Grant McHargue of Golden, CO; her sister, Diana Bowen of NC, and her two nephews Jason Hausman and Eric Hausman.
Janice was a graduate of Wiley High School. She was president of Vigo County Board of Realtors and realtor of the year. She was a member of Tri Kappa, Women's Dept. Club, Daughters of the Nile, and Service League of Union Hospital.
Visitation will take place from 12:00 Noon-1:30 PM, Saturday, June 22, 2019 in Callahan and Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. A memorial service will follow at 1:30 PM. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to The Ralph "Cork" McHargue Scholarship Fund at The Indiana State University Foundation, 30 North 5th St. Terre Haute, IN 47809.
