Janet Sue Montgomery, 62, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Mosaic of Terre Haute. She was born January 27, 1953 in Terre Haute to Thomas Montgomery and Mary Vestal Montgomery. Survivors include her sister, Jayne Montgomery of Terre Haute; several cousins including, Tim Reichert; and all of her extended family at Mosaic. She was preceded in death by her parents; a half-sister, Phyllis Jacks; grandmother, Evelyn Vestal; and an aunt, Dorothy Vestal. Earlier in her life, Janet was a student at Beacon School of the Valley and was a resident of Martin Luther Home which later became Mosaic. The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to Mosaic and to Gentiva Hospice for the loving care they provided to Janet. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Reverend Allissa S. Williams and Mr. Jeff Kochvar officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery in Rosedale, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Saturday from 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
