Jane Ann Fread, 88, of Terre Haute passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013. She was born August 20, 1924 in Terre Haute to Carl W. Price, Sr. and Jeanette Evans Price. Survivors include one son, Don P. Fread and his wife Cynthia of Indianapolis; two daughters, Cindy Readinger and her husband Ron of West Terre Haute and Nancy Rodia and her husband Jay of Indianapolis; one sister-in-law, Jean Price of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Nathan Readinger, Jordan Readinger, and Wesley Readinger; one great grandson, Jack Readinger; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Donald B. Fread in 2012; her parents; four brothers, Carl E. Price, Jr. and his wife Jo, Byron Price and his wife Jane, Bob Price and his wife Madaline, and Paul Price; and one sister, Virginia Montgomery and her husband John. Jane was a member of Maple Avenue United Methodist Church. She was a former member of PEO Chapter BN, Alpha at I.S.U., Tri Kappa, Country Club of Terre Haute, Swope Alliance, the Western Indiana Dental Society Women's Auxiliary, and the Tobies. Jane enjoyed entertaining, cooking and tennis. She was a graduate of Garfield High School and Indiana State University. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, July 11, 2013 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, Terre Haute, IN with Reverend David Rockhill officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
