James S. Torrence, Md

James S. Torrence, MD, 63, of Indianapolis and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully at home with his wife and children beside him Saturday evening, January 23, 2021. He was a prominent local longstanding physician with Associated Physicians & Surgeons Clinic in Terre Haute. Jim was born November 4, 1957 in Terre Haute to Robert W. Torrence and Anna Mary Coakley Torrence. He will always be loved as Papa Torrence.

A Celebration of the life for Dr. James Torrence will take place from 4:00-6:00 PM, Friday, January 29, 2021at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Friends are welcome to attend while wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
