James Anthony Mascari

January 6, 1956 — September 1, 2019

James Anthony Mascari, 63, of Terre Haute, died at his home Sunday, September 1, 2019. He was born January 6, 1956 to Paul Anthony and Aline Ann Arnold Mascari.

Surviving Jim are his daughters, Cassandra Hines (Shawn) and Angela Mascari; mother Aline Mascari; siblings, Guy Mascari (Debbie), Steve Mascari, Polly Donnelly (Paul), Frank Mascari (Jane), Peggy Grimes (Bill), Rick Mascari (Gina), and Gina Dorsett (Brian); an aunt, Dorothy Titsworth; and many nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Paul.

Jim was a 1974 graduate of Schulte High School, and received his bachelor's from Kansas University. He enjoyed watching the KU Jayhawks, St. Louis Cardinals and the Indy 500. He loved his family, friends and attending Mass at St. Joseph and St. Benedict Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 13, 2019 at 12:05 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, 111 S 9th St in Terre Haute with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Friday prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Club Soda, 1330 Lafayette Ave., Terre Haute, IN 47804, or a charitable cause of your choice.
