James Wendell Fox, born April 7, 1937 in Terre Haute, the youngest of seven born to Jessie and Clyde Fox, was born into eternal life December 18, 2022. He was cared for at home with loved ones until his passing.
Jim graduated from Gerstmeyer High School and after serving four years in the U.S. Navy, married his high school sweetheart, Jacquelyn Kiefner on November 26, 1959. He then attended Indiana State University, majoring in Business while employed at Columbia Records. In 1984, he was employed as Director of Maintenance at Westminster Village until retirement.
Preceding him in death were his son, Jack; and daughter, Jennifer. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Jackie; daughters, Jill Fox Mason (Gary) and Jo Fox Knoblett (Lance Nolan); and daughter-in-law, Lori Fox. Grandchildren are D.J. Collier, Andy Shaffer, Adam Vandenbrink, Megan Mason Leaver, Brandon and Tyler Knoblett, Mallory Mason and Caroline and Chloe Fox; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Private family services are planned with a Celebration of Life at a later date. The family is grateful for the excellent care provided by Hospice of the Wabash Valley and the Visiting Nurse Association.
