James E. "Jim" Carlisle

August 19, 1958 — December 17, 2016

James E. "Jim" Carlisle, 58, of Fairbanks, Indiana and Terre Haute passed away Saturday morning, December 17, 2016 in Union Hospital. He was a maintenance supervisor for Springhill Suites. Jim was born August 19, 1958 in Terre Haute to George Robert Carlisle and Frieda Maxine Price Carlisle.

Survivors include his son, Eric Carlisle and his wife, Ann, of Terre Haute; his daughter, Christina Carlisle of Quincy, IN; his brothers and sisters, Fred Carlisle of Raleigh, NC, Robert Carlisle of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, Jeff Carlisle of Brazil, IN, Billy Carlisle of Indianapolis, Clara May Herman of Fort Wayne, IN and Annetta Sanders of North Terre Haute; his loving partner, Debbie Mount of West Terre Haute; three grandchildren, Adam Brown, Breeann Carlisle and Parker Doty; one great-grandchild, Braily Brown; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a step-father, Harold Whitlock; and a sister, Carolyn Floyd.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
