James A. Adkins, 51, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday evening, July 4, 2018. He was born February 6, 1967 in Terre Haute to Ray and Alma Adkins.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Adkins; two sons, James A. Adkins II and William Adkins; two brothers, Tom Archibald and David Adkins; a sister, Karen Archibald; and several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

James attended North Terre Haute Christian Church. He loved going to yard sales and playing horseshoes.

A visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses. Funeral information may also be found at www.callahanandhughes.com.
