Jack A. Sitarski II, 66, of Terre Haute passed away early Wednesday morning, May 20, 2015 at his home. He and his brother, Jim, represented the 3rd generation of their family to own and operate Poplar Flower Shop which started as Randolph Greenhouses in 1920. Jack worked his entire life at the flower shop. He was born in Terre Haute to Jack A. Sitarski and June Randolph Sitarski. Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Deborah "Debbie" Springer Sitarski; a daughter, Katrina Poe and her husband, Billy, of Austin, TX; his grandson, Ian Poe of Austin, TX; his mother, June Randolph Sitarski of Terre Haute; and his brother, Jim Sitarski and his wife, Julie, of Terre Haute. Also surviving are a brother-in-law, David Springer of Vincennes, IN; a sister-in-law, Rhonda Long and her husband, Richard, of Crawfordsville, IN; two nephews, John Sitarski and Joey Sitarski and his wife, Brooke, all of Terre Haute; an aunt, Violet Randolph Barnes of Clearwater, FL; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. Jack was a 1966 graduate of Schulte High School and earned his bachelor's degree from Indiana State University. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life gathering to take place from 1:00-4:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Sycamore Country Club, 200 Heritage Drive, Terre Haute, IN.
