Jack B. Fuller, 88, of Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023. He was born December 23, 1934 in Terre Haute, to Clarence and Wanita Fulford Fuller.
Survivors include his daughter, Julie Williams (Joe); grandchildren, Katelyn Sergi (Ross), Cory Schalburg (Whitney), and John Williams; great grandchildren, Rhett Sergi, Capri Sergi, Lyla Schalburg and Avery Schalburg. He was preceded in death by both his parents, his wife, Joan, and his sister, Lou Ann Singleton.
Jack served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Elks Club and was a Golden Glove Boxing Champion in Terre Haute. He owned Stoker Sales Furnace Company and worked hard selling and repairing furnaces for over 25 years. He then owned and operated Elm Grove Bar for several years before retiring. Jack was an avid golfer and even had a local golf tournament named after him “The Jackie Boy Open”. He also loved to hunt, fish, bowl, and play with his grandkids. He was well loved by many friends in the community.
Visitation will be Monday March 13, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home located at 605 South 25th Street. Funeral services will be held immediately after the visitation. Mark Grayless will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
