Haley Renee Telle

Haley Renee Telle, 24, of Terre Haute went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 7, 2021 after an extended illness.  She was born March 29, 1996 in Decatur, IL to William Brian Telle and Lisa Miller Telle.

Survivors include her parents; brothers, Wesley Sterr (Ashleigh) and Christian Telle; several aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, and nephews.  She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Mary Ellen and Robert Lee Miller; and paternal grandparents, William Robert and Greta Lee Telle.

Haley lived life to the fullest when she was participating in Special Olympics a few years ago.  She loved bowling, equestrian, basketball, t-ball, and soccer. Haley earned many medals and was very proud to wear them for all to see. When she moved to Terre Haute a couple of years ago she started volunteering at Union Hospital and went to Happiness Bag to hang out with friends.  She loved her kitty cats, Molly and Mia, and always loved telling everyone about them.  Haley had apraxia and could hardly speak but she could usually get her point across when it came to the cats.  She loved her big brothers, Wes and Christian, and was always very excited when she got to see them.  Haley will be truly missed by all of her family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street, Terre Haute, IN with Pastor Brett Parks officiating.  Visitation will be from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday. Burial and committal services will be at 2:00 P.M. CST on Thursday in Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics.
